Eurotubes UK Ltd (trading as “Eurotubes UK”) uses its website to promote and sell its wire guide tubes, stator winding needles, cutters, and solder equipment.

Processing of your personal data

Under the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) we control and / or process any personal information about you electronically using the following lawful base.

Consent:

When ordering from Eurotubes UK we require a contact person - or persons - to address our quotations, order confirmations, invoices, delivery notes, and if there are any issues with your goods once in transit. We only use and store the contact person’s first and last name. By virtue of ordering with Eurotubes UK you give us consent to use your name, email address, and company address(es) for the above purposes.


We process your information in the following ways:

Online order

When placing an order online using our ecommerce system we use you company name, name, address(es), email address, and telephone/fax number to process your order with us.

Your debit/credit card details/Paypal information is at no point stored or used on www.Eurotubes-UK.com; it is transmitted to World Pay or Barclaycard or Paypal who handles secure payments. Once your order has been paid for, you will be redirected back to our website for final confirmation.

Your information is not stored for any other purpose than processing each order respectively.

You can gain access to your order history and repeat an order if desired. This is accessed through your user account and is securely stored on our BMS and OpenCart.


Email Order

When emailing orders to us, your email address and Personal Data (your name) is processed by Data Processors authorised/properly trained by our Data Controller. Eurotubes UK’s employees do not have access to this data, only your company name and the details of product(s) and quantities you are ordering with us are accessed by our general staff.

We securely store your email orders on our hosted Microsoft Exchange server [emailsrvr.com].

Your order and its respective invoice is also printed and securely filed in locked cabinets. Printed orders are filed for 1 year, when they are removed from site and securely destroyed by Shred It [www.shredit.co.uk].

Business Management System [“BMS”]

Our Business Management System provider is; www.mediaorb.co.uk. We hold the following information about you/your company within our BMS system:

  • Company name (or personal name if sole trader)
  • Your name
  • Email address
  • I.P address
  • Any delivery or invoice address(es) you provide us with
  • Any contact telephone or fax numbers you provide us with


*** Only the Data Controller and its Authorised Data Processors have access to anything other than your company name – everything else you provide us with from the above is restricted from unauthorised access. Our company’s employees will only see your company name when processing production jobs using our in-house BMS; no personal data that you provide us with is used to process your orders. ***
